It says “made”.

If they actually made it, I would ascertain that it’s pretty old, because that well-known logo - that has been around for so long - is not there.

If this offering excites someone, I imagine they will buy it. 😐

Agreed. 😐

To the rest of the room:

Unless I know *for certain* that an outer branch will fit another outer branch I don't buy them. Even with this bell, I cannot imagine ever having a random top bow to fit this set of parts. The bell is an unknown, too, so I would not get this.

Regarding the provenance of these parts: Maaaaaybe they were made by Rudi. Maaaaaybe they weren't.

They are not parts from a typical "Rudi 3/4" tuba, though they may be parts made by him for a special order. And if so, maybe he didn't label them normally as they would not actually be used on one of his tubas. Perhaps this is his "backdoor" way of labeling bespoke components, thereby still getting credit for having made them?

Who knows?

FWIW…

I have two sets of Harbor Freight letter stamps that could easily duplicate what is seen on that bell.

… About the only thing I’ve ever stamped with them has been a “4” stamping on a spiced-on piston casing, or “20K” on a 26-inch model 38K sousaphone bell - which is really the same bell, anyway…I’m now remembering that I went back over the bell-stamped serial number on a brutally refinished Besson euphonium, once.

…Some of y’all could have fun with those 1970s Yamaha 201 bells - which only had dark red paint on them, and no engraving. 😉

bloke “I’d have to practice on a few trashed bells, before I could pull off something like what is seen in the picture…and I believe that it was probably stamped in the Rudy factory…but so what?”

I do know one thing...I'm wouldn't be volunteering to (likely: sand and) buff out that surface - as is shown.

more to the point, who knows why someone who just told you, and referenced published provenance that references the exact i.d. under discussion by a credible author (multi-eastman degreed, ex-Rochester Phil, USNB, and long-time Director of the USNB)...who knows why someone would even bother posting that kind of content here...
