eBay

Post by bloke »

One problem with eBay - for me - is that people (people who buy things from that site and the ask to send them to me to repair to good condition for their own use) so often buy things that (due to epic issues with them - which are revealed to me once those items arrive here) I would never myself choose purchase - even if for my own use/ownership.

Another problem with eBay - for me - is that people (people who buy things from that site and send them to me to repair to good condition - with the intention of subsequently flipping those things for a profit) are asking me to
[1] do work at some sort of perceived "wholesale" rate (when the demand for my work - at "whatever" rate I might choose to charge - always exceeds my ability to deliver my services), and they are also asking me to
[2] compete with myself.

Yet another problem with eBay are those who send me auction links to misc. instruments along with the vague question, "What about this one, bloke?" :eyes:

note:
If you're a repeat repair customer of mine, you're none of the above.
