I had posted my Christmas brass quintet arrangements again, but for various reasons, I decided to pull them. There are 26 in this year's PDF, at 171 pages of material.

I need to do some thinking about this. Usually, I give away my work. I need to stop doing this. These are finalized, with many years of alterations applied to them. They are worth a lot of money, collectively. I need to consider either direct sales or sending them to a publisher.

As I said, I need to think about giving stuff away seeing how I have been screwed so many times over the years, and how I am barely able to keep our lights on right now. Giving this away is what I would LIKE to do, but it no longer makes sense.

I'm an idiot, so I'm sure that I'll be posting this file again sometime soon…

Wade...my copies were on a computer that died on me with no backup done. I would gladly pay you for another set. If you have finalized copies and wouldn't mind sending them, I will work out with you whatever payment method you would prefer.

Thanks

I am behind you 100% on this but will tell you that trying to sell music is extremely difficult, no matter how good it is. I've had compositions held on to by a publisher who is doing absolutely nothing to sell them, who promised to give back the copyright if I was unhappy, and has ghosted me when I have attempted to do that. One of them is even available in Europe but in the US? Nope, just go away MA and too bad so sad. So now --- I would make my own web site, downloads only, and would have no idea what to charge because people xerox everything. It is a tough business with little reward. The problem with a publisher is that they only want to market things that are highly marketable, and that generally is not "new" anything. You will have better luck with arrangements than original compositions though.
