Those in need….

Quick story for anyone interested. Never underestimate the friendship of the small world that is tuba players. I found a great deal on an instrument that was 1000+ miles away.. the bad news, it was local pick up only. It stayed online for sale for at least a month. Then it went down in price, and I even had the $$, but not the time to travel. Enter the TubaForum. I just typed in that if you lived near this city, a guy could really use a friend. Long story made slightly less long, two gentlemen came to my aid and a plan was made for the whole process to go down. It took a while, but the help and time these men gave me allowed me to secure the horn, and get it to KCMO in one piece. I didn't ask permission to use their names, but they are both on this forum. Never be afraid to ask for a helping hand with tuba players. The kindness and willingness to help never cease to amaze me….
