plain ol' (wired/no gimmicks/decent) stereo headphones

no earbuds, no wireless, no bluetooth, no noise cancelling, no built-in XM radio, no audiophile...

...good enough to hear youtube recordings reasonably well.

I'm shopping used in the $XX range.

Do you have some "pretty darn good ones", are really careful with your stuff, but (maybe you) upgraded (etc.)?

I had a set of Sony blah-blah...very good...the supporting parts busted. I've been getting by with some old drug-store crap that I found in the bottom of a box...and I'm thinking that (even though I'm broke) I deserve something slightly better...

Sony MDR-7506. Mostly "flat" with a bit of a bump in the high range. Under $90.

good...
If used in live (recording) applications, it's difficult to tune when high frequencies are dampened/muffled.
