Blue Bells of Scotland (sort of)

Last spring, I was asked on short notice to play Blue Bells of Scotland with the local high school band. My first thought was, “Oh $#!+” I’d hoped I could play Beelzebub or The Happy Hippo, but no time to acquire parts.
In the concert, my recorder stopped before the first cadenza was over. Acted up throughout the concert. A friend sent a clip from one of the rehearsals. Neither are perfect, but I sure enjoy doing it with the kids. The band director is a trombone player (hence the Blue Bells selection), and it was his last concert with the band prior to retirement.
