That price is about $250 too high. And he is in Brooklyn (Sheepshead Bay) which a local would tell you is not out on "da giland"…

Comes with two mouthpieces...!
(I can drive about 15 minutes to the shore and SEE Long Island, but I've actually never been ON Long Island.)

I have an old York E-flat sousaphone body (both ends are plugged, to avoid interior wasp nest building), which was sprayed with that same wide-@$$ chameleon paint (done at the same time) as my formerly-owned 4-valve fiberglass B-flat sousaphone.
(I harvested the 4-valve/front-action valveset off that York sousaphone body, and used it to front-action a York 3-valve top-action E-flat tuba.)
I keep meaning to strap that York sousaphone body up at the point of the roof on the front of the barn, but haven't ever gotten around to it.
It would/will look cool, when the sun catches it.
Out by the highway, there's also a "personal" telephone pole (well on my property - only serves me) which carries phone line, power, cable, and cable amplifier. I'd actually like to strap it up high on the front of that, but the power co-op might give me crap about it...particularly if the wind pulled it loose and f'ed up my power.

Of course, they don’t imply that they’re actually FOR the tuba-shaped object…
