Selling for a good friend. Satin Silver 3 valve upright Martin tuba in good shape. 20 in bell, small shank receiver, valves are good, all slides pull easily. Needs a good polish! No case, but can include a mouthpiece that works but doesn't fully seat.
$500 takes it.
College professor/tuba major owned, located near Brainerd, MN. He also has a 1914 Holton 4 valve silver Eb Raincatcher, missing some neck pieces, I believe. I'll post that separately when I get all the photos, or just call him and buy 'em both and save me the trouble!
PM your preferred contact info to me, I'll have Steve contact you.

Nice! That is the larger of their two Eb tuba offerings. It shares the bell and bottom bow with their “Medium” BBb.
I’d be interested in seeing a picture of the raincatcher!

Tim showed me this a few days ago, and if I had the $ it would be coming home with me. I'm even driving to/through Brainerd today!

I got an MN lottery scratcher in my stocking on Christmas, maybe that'll pull through for $500 for me. Because, ya never know.

Ooh, somebody buy it quick! It sounds like you may have safe transport to the Twin Cities - if there's room to spare in the Bortmobile. Brett, it may be time to consider that Tahoe, Suburban, or even Sequoia. Those boys aren't getting any smaller, you know.

No they aren't! And once they have enough of their own "stuff"...! At least my older son is getting into curling, and not hockey... Talk about "stuff"!
4 people and 1 dog... May have to pull a Romney to get the tuba and everyone back home. A little cold for that today though...
