He'd certainly get more attention if he'd post pix, but as the kids say: "Whatever..." :eyes:

This.

Also, @TubaJD, do you have a rough location regarding where the horn is located?

Trying to help here…

Are you not sharing photos for some privacy/fraud concerns or because it’s difficult to figure out the posting/share process?

If you have an iPhone (I’m assuming an android phone is similar), it’s pretty easy to snap some photos and then put text over them to prevent people from recycling your pics in a fraudulent way.

Photos may or may not be a determining factor in the sale of this horn, but they typically help with the “share velocity” of a post. That usually results in a wider net being cast to help sell the horn.

Yeah I can’t figure out how to post the pics on this forum. It’s pretty clunky.
Thank you!

Best way to post pics is to use an image hosting service, like Imgur.

Upload your images there, and then get the “share code” from the site that has the direct link to the image file. That link will end in something like .jpg or .png. Some sort of graphic file extension.

Once you have that copied, you can paste it here. The markup that needs to surround that link is the “img” in square brackets [ ] at the front of the link without the quotation marks. At the end of the link, you’ll type the “/img” statement, also without quotes, in square brackets again. No spaces between the link and the brackets.

All 163s are wrapped like this.
As well as the early tall-bell B&S(etc.) 101, which was designed by the same guy that came up with the 163 design at Alexander back in the 30’s.

His name was Andreas Crönlein, and I wish we knew a lot more about him. He moved from Alexander to Hess in 1938, and after the war Hess was nationalized and absorbed into what became B&S under communist central management.

Rick “whose Giardinelli 101 looks just like this 163 except that it’s a bit smaller” Denney
