I can't find this on the Wessex website anymore, but it sort of looks like a Conn 5J copy or something.

I seem to remember Wessex showing pictures of a prototype 4/4 CC that looks like this.

I believe this was called the "Oregon". I played one at the Chicago Showroom. The biggest issue is that it didn't play in BBb. It played in BB (natural). Even with the crazy long tuning slide, you can't pull it out long enough to be in tune (because it would need to be well past the bottom bow to be in tune). I understand they made a few before they realized this and stopped production.

I was was thinking it could be fun to buy it from them... as a fun little cut to CC project. I was hoping they would sell it to me for a few hundred given the circumstances. But they still wanted a few thousands.
