I’d love to see some pictures.

How old are the horns?
How is the intonation?
What is your asking price?
Where are you located?

I speculate they are in the same place as the other instruments @Tim Jackson has posted about. (if memory serves, that probably would be Pensacola, FL? But i'll at least mention him in the hope he notices...

I also will go out on a limb and say they may have an issue or two to correct, depending how finicky the buyer is, but will play better than a pessimist might expect, but not quite as good as the optimist hopes.

But yeah, i'm curious too.

Here are some pics and info on the Buescher EEb Recording Bass

I found this at a local engraver's shop. Cool place. He has all sorts of oddities. I spied this up on a ledge and watched it for years. Finally came up for sale. Hoping it was a BBb, but I bought it anyway. I have no use for an EEb of any kind. It could be a good jazz horn or project for parts. I know it sat in that shop for 20-30 years.

Horn located in Pensacola Florida

Serial # 236097 LP

Tonight it's playing around A 434. Until the length is straightened out, it's hard to tell what the intonation is. The Eb octaves and 5ths seem to be good. The 1-2 C is flat. It's really hard to offer information on scale and pitch on an instrument in this shape.

Someone added some tubing to the lead pipe. lead pipe has a patch just down from the receiver.
Metal seems to be generally thinner than some horns.
Does have some compression. And I would say it's not worn out. I can't tell much about the valve section, but the metal in the bell and bows seems to be sound. Hints of gold wash in the bell.

The horn is not useable in this condition and I can't judge the potential after some corrections which is why I offer it for parts.

Price: I have $250 in it. If it is to be shipped, I have to be compensated for building a box and shipping. I build nice boxes and it usually takes 2 days.
Buyer pays to ship crate.

It would be great if someone could pick it up.
