I got these today, am going to stick three of them on an old-style 2341, take the repaired instrument (which needed quite a few other repairs) back to the school, and see how these things hold up in battlefield conditions.

Hey, since the friggin' factory can experiment with stick-on plastic strips on Conn 20K sousaphone bodies, that surely gives ME license to try this out, yes...??

What was the price on those? I saw that the other ones you were looking at were $12 something a pc.
