Because I can't stand just having "stuff"This for the sake of having "stuff"...
For sale here is a beautiful Buescher trumpet that is very hard to photograph. Here are my best attempts, but I'll try and get a better photo in the direct sunlight today.
This Buescher Tru-Tone I believe is from the 1930s, with a satin silver finish, with polished silver accents, very nice engraving, and a (lightly) gold washed bell. Overall it is an incredible condition for being ~90 years old, with the exception of the very bottom of the third valve casing. I forgot to remove the valves for the photo, but pretty sure they look good and even have recent felts. Love the cross-hstched valve caps and details!
It appears that the previous person may have squeezed the bottom of the 3rd valve casing while trying to remove the bottom valve cap... it's a little scuffed, and the third valve doesn't go all the way down. I'm taking it into the shop this week to get it checked out, I don't think it's a major issue and the casing just needs to be re-trued for the last inch or so at the bottom.
I am AWFUL at playing the trumpet, but was able to make trumpet sounds with it. I believe the previous owner used this a fair amount and cared for it well... his name and address are still on the outside of the case. I get the impression that it was special to him (I bought this at an estate sale). I'm not sure what I can say about playability beyond that!
Comes with the original case, two original mouthpieces, a lyre and a mute. The case smells a little basementy, but it's not too bad.
