So, I've been checking out some old NOLA brass band recordings, and this playing style really popped out at me. Nobody seems to want to hear it, but it's super unique and super funky.
I love the root whole note, then one-bar fill to the next chord. Very soloistic approach. Then a very driving style line here and there. Definitely getting some ideas from this dude.
