Post by bisontuba »

Happy Tuba Tuesday. This week, the Museum features a Uhlmann, B flat tenor tuba, 4 rotary, ca.1865-1896.

Bell Diameter 8 3/4,” bore is .530″ & the horn’s height is 30 1/2.”

“K:K:Hof / Instrumenten Fabrik / Leopold Uhlmann / IN WIEN” on a separate piece of metal inlaid on the bell. Identification marks are under an emblem of a double-headed bird and surrounded by a floral design.
