...along with "bad sound" (for obvious reasons) music played through tiny (laptop, etc.) speakers ALSO sounds out-of-tune.
People often tell me that they can't hear overtones resonating, and only claim to hear the (so-called) "sounding" (played/written/whatever) pitches,
but if laptop-speakers-played recorded music sounds out-of-tune to them (just as it sounds out-of-tune to me) then I believe those people DO hear overtones, but just don't realize what is that they're hearing.
