Re: Grandioso from Aida - Houston Brass Band
Thanks for sharing . ‘Classical’ ‘type’ music can sometimes end up being ‘murdered’ by a Brass Band and particularly so if the arrangement isn’t good or the piece selected is not really conducive to voicing via brass instruments - please don’t ask me how I know . In this case what I heard was a good arrangement that was well played.

That's just the type of piece that - if a bunch of that sort of thing is programmed (ie. brass quintet hired for a CEREMONY) - I'll schlep a CONTRAbass tuba to play with a brass quintet.
' great playing !!!!!

You will pimp86 to me (but not my spouse/descendants/next-of-kin/designated others), I'll will FatBastard to you (but not your spouse/descendants/next-of-kin/designated others).
If either of us sells prior to croaking, obviously the deal's off...eh?
With any luck, the one who outlives the other will be too old to enjoy the new acquisition...
