(I'm thinking that the flaw in the playing is - nearly always - the tongue interfering with the lips, rather than - almost never - the lips not being set precisely for the pitch, eh?)

The Brrrrrrt Brrrrrrt attacks are what you really need to worry about.
A-10s are pretty brutal.

yeah...As I seem to recall, that's the same sound that Five O' Clock Charlie's plane made.
I get to see / listen to A-10s all the time. They train here at Davis-Monthan AFB. My workplace was just west of the flight path -- we got to see the shuttle on piggy-back land here once, out my office window.
