I’m selling a B&S MRP-C that is in excellent condition. It plays perfectly, and has no damages aside from a couple small dings and scratches, as is typical of any used tuba. However they are all very small and virtually unnoticeable. I’m asking 14,000, or a trade for a Meinl Weston Ursus. The price is negotiable, as well.

Yes, that’s in USD. I’m located in northwestern West Virginia.

I've always wanted to try an mrp, and have heard so many good things from so many good players about these.

Steve Campbell in the Minnesota Orchestra plays one of these. It's an incredible sound. I don't think that the Orchestra Hall sounds particularly great, but the weekly radio broadcast is well engineered and he sounds phenomenal.

I don't know Steve will, but if he used the Neptune for quite a while, then a pt6, and then the mrp. All large rotary CC tubas. Might be interesting sometime to find out why he switched from one to the other to the other.

Also want to say, ursus is a sick piston tuba. It plays and sounds so much bigger than it is physically. It's been several years since I've tried one, but it was definitely one of those it plays itself kind of instruments
