These were both inexpensive and played mellophones better than most other mouthpieces.
The company that bought the DEG line was not able to keep the brass mouthpiece line going, and - now - the only place to get a 6V is either from an expensive manufacturer, used/eBay, or from Kelly (acrylic).
yes...There IS one on eBay...priced a little higher than I'd care to pay, and with a worn shank.
