York Monster Eb front action measurements

Does anyone have a (factory) front action York Monster Eb that they might take a few measurements from?

I have one of the unusual 18” bell top action Monsters that I’m going to change to front action with a Conn 5j valve cluster. I like the proportions of how the York front action tubing looks.

If possible, I’m looking for measurements of some of the (outer) valve tubing:

1) the length of the longest straight tube, as well as with the upper and lower short tubes on #1

2) length of the two #2 tubes

3) same as #1 but for the 3rd valve.

If someone has one of the front action York monsters, I’d be really appreciative of a few minutes of your time.

There's a five valve that I put together that now belongs to Shawn in upstate New York who is retired from the West Point band, and I don't believe I moved the original three pistons, even though I added a fourth piston. I kept the original mouthpipe tube as well.

Thanks. Looking back at a picture of that horn, you moved almost all of the first valve tubing above the valve similar to the way you did it on your Holton “little” BBb.

That's true - and for obvious reasons, but I'm pretty sure that I tried to keep the valve block in the same place. I don't think I had the oem mouthpipe off very long, and put the pipe brace right back on the same spot on the bell that it had been originally.

Don't misinterpret this as a defense or as argumentative, but rather as just mostly an assurance that I believe the picture will show the valve block in the factory original position, in spite of all the wild alterations.

Gotcha. Perhaps I didn’t explain the madness to my method.

I’m looking to emulate how much of the 1st and 3rd valve tubing is above its casing and how much is below the casing.

You moved most of the 1st tubing to above (I assume to give a longer pull and to make room for the 5th valve. I’m aiming to duplicate how it would have been stock.

Sorry for any misunderstanding.

I'm thinking that the tube coming out of the upper port of the number one casing was only about two and a half or three inches long, but I realize that's not precise enough for you.
