Selmer eb?

If anyone spots one of these...

Image

(Strikingly similar to Image labeled Carl Fischer... which put their own name on other makes... not really sure if Selmer is different)

anyway...

I'm at least curious, and figured i'd mention my curiosity whether others might be similarly curious.

Kinda in the same vein as my bizarre desire for old cerveny mouthpieces...

I don’t think it bizarre to desire a classic three value Eb Tuba, IMHO such things are under appreciated and can be really great playing instruments.

Alright. Saw enough to be sold on these pretty much entirely being Conn/Pan Am.

Fellow tubist brought a 5J to rehearsal, and it had the same receiver brace, and the bell ferrule was sufficiently unformed/unConn-like to acknowledge this much variance in ferrules.

And i shoulda credited horn-u-copia with both pictures above.

Still interested, but more curious.

Will take a moment to comment my additional data point(s) in the tuba tuesday Selmer helicon thread...
