I just finished repairing five same-make/model F-attachment trombones.
The very last one had a rotor cap that would nearly tighten, but - just at that point - it would continue to rotate and spin off the valve casing.
I repaired it in ten seconds, and without messing up the casing, nor the fit of the rotor, and nor the fit of the removable rotor bearing.
How did I accomplish this?
