What is this? Not much time left. I'll assume it's an old BBb?

BBb. On the BBb models the tubing leaving the 4th rotor flares out before turning into the MTS. For the CC version, it goes straight down.

Miraphone 186 BBb.
Yes, the wrap on the 186 CCs make a more-or-less right angle going into and out of the valves, while BBb 186s have the bowed-out tubing.

There is also a mFone 4 valve CC 186 that is one owner, but he won't ship it w/o the hard case, and flunked the zoom request. It would be lighter weight than a 5 valve.

I did a zoom (or facetime, I think) demo of the unusual F Miraphone I sold a few months ago. It was a lot better for me than recording a fixed sample would have been, and I think it worked well for the buyer. I wonder how popular that is or will soon be?
Mary Ann, what are you looking for? Something to replace the 184? Should I offer you
my nice little Scherzer 4 valve C that's not getting much attention lately? It's shorter than a 186, and with a compact wrap like a 188.

I'm mostly living in fantasy land; if a CC fell in my lap that was lightweight and easy to play, I might bite, but I sold the 184 because I was just using the Star, someone really wanted a 184 in particular, and tubas should be played, not sit in their cases in the back room. I was happy to give it a home where it will be played.
