If you send me a K90, I’ll check for you.

Send me $350 + gas/toll money and pay for shipping and I'll go get the one still for sale in New Jersey for you some weekend.

(Was originally $500, now dropped to $350 and has me considering).

Only joking... a little. I'd like to see if the upright bell would fit my 1930s King 1240.

The raincatcher on my 1241 came from a bugle like the one in the picture. My 1241came with a 22 in. raincatcher and a 30's vintage, very nicely engraved, bell front. Youv may have to slightly alter the tenon just because your horns are so far apart date wise but it should fit. And those contra bells are thicker gauge brass, probably like your tuba. Good Luck! Ed

Even with 6/4 Conn tubas/sousaphones - and with production having been moved twice, very old geometry is really close to newer geometry on those connectors. I have witnessed an old Conn Orchestra Grand body mated up with a 1960s upright 25J bell. The bell was slightly loose but fit good enough (and some repair idiot could have easily buffed the crap out of one or the other in the past). I'm thinking that King/UMI had no motivation to spend money on slightly different size bell connection tooling, so I would bet on them being the same.
