Re: Minneapolis CL: Mirafone tubas
Price has now been increased.
Was $400. Now $1000.
It doesn't say if that's "per" or "each". The $400 price was "each".
Seller told me he had an offer for both, that is more than the new listed price. I don't have $400, so I was out early anyway.
Probably all still "just fine" prices in the end. But not the bargain it was this morning.
Or, quite simply:
"It didn't work out"

Re: Minneapolis CL: Mirafone tubas
That's was a good deal for someone.
I'm even passing up on deals like those these days even if they're close by. I'm trying to only buy stuff that's really close to being ready to resell and I'm trying to clear all of the mirror phones or minor westerns in the Attic out before purchasing any more in that sort of condition.

I'm even passing up on deals like those these days - and even if they're close by. I'm trying to only buy stuff that's really close to being ready to resell and I'm trying to clear all of the Miraphones, Meinl-Westons, other makes, and other types of better-grade instruments in the attic out before purchasing any more in that sort of condition.
Thinking about the reality of getting older and of instruments being up there that won't end up getting fixed and sold, I am concentrating on that stuff now, rather than building up a supply of it...
...Of course, it's more fun to buy - and think about fixing up later - than actually fixing up already-bought stuff NOW.
