I agree, guys. This is the way to go.
I've been staring at that auction, and/but I already have three of those things.
I was also given several of the other style that mount on the wall, and I'm seriously considering pulling my floor-mounted ones apart and mounting them on the wall as well.
I guess the main purpose of this response is that anyone who is looking at that thing - and wondering where they would put it, realize that - if you study it for a few minutes - there are ways to take it apart and mount only the tuba-holding part on the wall, rather than having it take up floor space - perhaps in a not-large apartment, townhouse, or limited-space man-cave/music room.
