This is the latest of my tuba reconfigurations. It has a Holton 19” silver plated bell and bottom bow produced in Chicago before 1916.
The bore of the piston valve section is 0.687 with a 17.5mm Meinlschmidt rotor. Plays and sounds great.
As amateur as they come...I know just enough to be dangerous.

Cool.

And scrollin' down the link, I saw Geoff Jubb's Enharmonic Compensator for $700 ins Petrie QLD.

I wonder if he wants Australian or US dollars for it, though being rather far removed, it is merely academic interest.
