Christian at Miraphone reports to me that the old knurled nut thread size for the carriage rods was 2.6mm. Many of us know that the current thread is 3mm.

He can supply them, I'm going to order a few of them the next time I order some other parts, and it would be a nice touch for the 1962 body that I'm using as part of a Miraphone that I'm putting together to sell. Christian is also sharp enough to remember that I ordered these in the past, whereas I don't remember it at all.

2.6mm is an odd ball. That's only 2 thousandths off 0.1". I wonder if it was originally because 0.1" round stock is pretty common and was available after the war?

I'm pretty sure the rod itself was 3 mm in diameter, just as now.
