WTB: Some good price-quality 3/4 or 4/4 tuba

I've recently created a "Charanga" (like a marching brass band) in my town with some friends, and we're looking for a new good price-quality tuba. The perfect one would be around be a BBb or CC 3/4 or 4/4 one with 4 pistons or rotors. My budged is among 1000€ to 3500€.
Some friends of mine have recommended the following models: :tuba:
  • Wessex Overture TB210 4/4 in BBb
  • Conn bb501c 3/4 in C
What do you think of them? Do you recommend me these models? And do you know anywhere to buy'em with a good price?

Another option we've been thinking of is buying a sousaphone or helicone, but they're quite more expensive. Any advice?

Weird. When did Conn stop using "J" for tubas?

You might also check out a 5J, which you can find on the used market in the states for around $2500...I imagine they're around Europe, too.

I assume you mean Spanish Charanga, and not Cuban Charanga? Very cool!
