I've never used one, but every time I see one, I think they look a little "tipsy." The base just doesn't seem wide enough to handle a tuba hanging out all the way up in the air like that.

I actually need something like this for my Holton BB-350, but yeah, these look really tipsy especially for a big heavy horn like that. Anyone have any other suggestions?

The base is adjustable and can spread out pretty wide. I have two of them that I've put 3/4 to 6/4 size tubas on. Never had any issue with balance or knocking them over.
