Indeed the German ue (ü) sound does not exist in English so it ends up getting modified in various ways into an English phoneme. My surname has this letter and is pronounced as an English long e (ee) sound in America.

In my experience, those numbers on Mirafone's were serial numbers not model numbers.

Doing a few searches, I found this Mirafone 56L at Baltimore Brass. If you're not looking to spend a lot, you'll be hard pressed to find a better deal.

I found a listing for a Mirafone 35W mouthpiece on ebay. I am not the seller. The seller is clueless as to what it is.
