I think I see red rot in the first valve knuckle?

This picture shows what I *think* is probably acid bleed under the lacquer from manufacturing.

I don't think it's red rot. Doesn't look pinkish to me.
As amateur as they come...I know just enough to be dangerous.

I don't know if you noticed but at the bottom of the page, they list a Rolling Valve tuba.
