If there are any loose solder joints, it may also need "embracing".

I’ll say it’s pretty needy. Having a 26” bell on a .656 bore Eb Sousaphone screams “Hey Look At ME!”
Some old Yorks, Martins, and perhaps a King rotary valved CC
