First time i've come across one of these... Which is mildly surprising considering how more normal a fiberglass sousaphone seems than a fiberglass tuba, and that fiberglass Martins, while not too common, seem to be the bulk of fiberglass tubas i've heard tell of.

Anyway, whatcha think?

There is (was/is?) one of these (white) at a local high school.

The gold ones (when in really good condition) are interesting.

I'm thinking that the pistons are interchangeable with the front-action pistons on Martin Mammoth (monster/giant/etc...ref: another thread) tubas.

The pictures point towards issues, and the apparent fact that it has been rattle-canned.

Is it located in a warmer part of the country? That water pipe doesn't seem to be insulated.
