Tightly wrapped with the valves on top. Hmmm. Bb Saxhorn? Compare to a current Courtois Bb saxhorn:

Yeah, that's gotta be it. The valve block design is almost identical plumbing with more rounded turns. I'd say it's an update on the same design.

An alto would have a c.8" bell.
10 5/8" is much more baritone/euphonium range.
If it’s tourist season, why can’t we shoot them?
