I can't believe that's already up to $150, and it still has a day left. I bet it's going to at least double in price before the auction closes. Is a bell THAT flat even salvageable? I feel like there would be tons of holes once you start rolling it back into shape. It so seems like someone's going to waste their money on this thing.

$150 sounds fairly reasonable (which is what it closed at, surprisingly)...but I don't know if I'd ever want to pay that much for a bell in such awful condition. I guess it makes more sense if you could repair it and sell it off on your own, but I'd have to pay one of my friends who'd probably be angry at me for asking for such a crazy job!

During this whole pandemic, I've found I've saved MORE money buying new, because used prices were higher.

The only exception was a Zoom H6 with all the accessories for $375. New with just the X/Y mic was 300...and the used market was $325. I didn't get it. I talked to the guy who sold me it, and he thought the used market was just as crazy. Thankfully, he was selling the gear in my hometown, where there's not a whole lot of interest for it.
