It seems everyone spends a lot of time talking about BATs but where is the love for the Small A** Tubas? I don't care if you have one in BBb, CC, Eb, or F (or any other key you frankentuba guys are working on). Let us say hello to your little friend. Share some pics of your SATs. I don't care if it is your current horn or one you used to own, post some pics of your little buddy. Now that I am the proud new owner of a Mirafone 184, I am appreciating how nice my 3/4 really is. This will also inspire me to get off my butt and post some pics of mine later. Feel free to include yourself holding it to get an idea of scale. (except for Mark because it will look like a euphonium or tenor tuba in his hands ). Gratuitous feet shots optional.

5 valve Eb I'm working on. I'm not exactly sure whether its a 4/4 or 3/4, it has a relatively small bell and a very small (original) bore. It would be a 3/4 sized BBb but I don't know how that translates to Eb.

Also Noting that a 6/4 Eb is the same size as classic 4/4 BBb's (king 2341, york 33 ect).

I forgot I had this photo... the one and only time there were 3 tubas in my tiny NYC studio apartment (behind me when I took the photo were the boxes to pack and ship the Marzan).

Gig bag for the 653 on the left, gig bag for the Marzan on the right. The little Cerveny bag was AWESOME! I've never like the Cronkhite bags that much, but for a SAT, they are just incredible. For the big tubas, I think they're bulky and hard to deal with. But the little guy is pretty sweet. Tuba plus bag was probably around 15 lbs or something.

This is me playing my old 1903 conn Eb that I added a 5th valve to. Tiny tuba, 5/8th bore, 14 inch bell, 31-32 inches tall.

For reference, I'm 6 foot 8

Here my SAT, a small 3/4 CC. Most probably assembled by A.E.Fischer in Bremen out of Bohland & Fuchs parts, sometimes before WWII. It still plays well :)
