Righard Wagner- Lohengrin on BBb Tuba
Big Lohengrin Fantasy, Richard Wagner, arrangement by Guido Rennert played by Musikkorps der Bundeswehr (Concert Band of German Armed Forces) An excerpt from the finale of Act 1. Played on my MIRAPHONE 6/4 Hagen BBb-Tuba. What a great Instrument!

Well played! You sound great on that Hagen.
I'm listening to your band's recording of the entire piece now, on YouTuba. So far, it's quite impressive. Link is here:

Looks like you have some impressive artillery in your section. What tubas are your section-mates playing?
And, where can one buy the music for this?

@Heavy_Metal
Thank you so much!
Here is the shop of the music:
http://www.auren-musik.de/epages/622815 ... s/62281512
We made the Lohengrin recording on (CD) with only with 2 Tubas. My colleague play a Miraphone Belcanto F and me the 6/4 Hagen BBb.
Watch out for the Album "We are one" that's great music

@Kontrabasstuba , was it this one?

That was the only Lohengrin piece I could find on the site. I hope to recommend the piece you played for next year's Maryland All-State Community Band.

But you can write Auren a mail. Guido Rennert is a clarinet player from our band. Say hello from me ;-)
