Tuba part for Rodeo

Post by hup_d_dup »

Can anyone send me the tuba part for Rodeo? I’d like to look it over before the next orch rehearsal.

Also, any recommendations regarding choice of Eb or Bb?

Please contact me at tuba AT pottersville-nj.us.

Thanks,
Hup

I'll dig through my stuff and see if I can find it. It's fun for sure. I would use the big horn. There's some "oomph" required in certain spots.

Not having seen the part, I went to the first rehearsal with my Eb, figuring it would be adequate, which it was. However, your recommendation for the big tuba is correct for sure.

I'm not bad at using search engines.
This was a first-hit, based on the search words I chose.
' sorry I didn't notice your post earlier...

Thanks for sending. Just for your information, there are tuba parts for two movements, the other being Buckaroo Holiday (this part is actually much more interesting than Hoe-Down, at least for tuba).

I am curious how you got to this part, since the log in prevented me from going to any other useful page on this website.

With the right search words, it’s pretty easy to walk into many websites’ back doors without even any “hacking“.
