Due to extremely strong inflationary pressures and skyrocketing shipping costs (as JP includes shipping in their dealer pricing), some of the prices (not all) have gone up.

I'm paying considerably more for their nicest oboe, their least expensive B-flat tuba, and several other misc. models.

The warehouse is roughly an hour from Charlotte.

If anyone deems their time and fuel to be less of a cost than shipping - and (for practical purposes) lives within a reasonable commute of that area, (though NON-routine) a dock pick-up can be arranged. This does not mean a dock/warehouse "test", but only a pick-up of a sealed-carton new instrument. Cartons may not be opened at the warehouse, and new/unopened cartons cannot be picked-through (with same-model instruments compared to each other, etc.)

The only purposes of this are to let people know that a few prices are now higher (due to epic higher costs), and that dock pick-up can possibly (??) involve negotiating a lower purchase price (as JP will not - then - have to pay to ship the instrument to my store - or to drop-ship it to your location).

Also, some of the most popular models are now ending up all be pre-sold, by the time a container load ends up arriving at the warehouse.
...so (as I've never liked doing this, as it tends to generate a ton of customer "how's it coming?" inquiries) about the only way to deal with this situation (again: with SOME models) is to pay in advance - so as to "get in line". One of the most pre-sold models is the ever-popular model 274 compensating euphonium. SEVERAL of those JUST left the warehouse YESTERDAY towards their buyers' locations. To their credit, NONE of those buyers badgered us (thank you very much!) and - to JP's credit - none of them waited much longer than a bit longer than a month.

If you're viewing individual instruments that JP is offering for sale (??), those are probably on their RETAIL (UK) website.

or - who is "BB"...??

...and I've not seen a MW-10 JP knock-off...only a YBB-105 knock-off (which - in several ways - is better than a YBB-105).
