It was brought to my attention that my previous post, now deleted, may have been interpreted as casting aspersions on the instrument. That was not my intent at all nor to injure a potential sale. I was, rather clumsily, trying to show my own faults when picking and purchasing a tuba. I rushed the process and bought a tuba that didn’t meet my needs. It was a decent horn just not “the one.” That was definitely a learning experience and I’m still learning.

Didn’t Getzen sell those - back when they also sold Melton (aka Meinl-Weston) ?
I seem to recall those being listed on their one page black-and-white tuba flyer back in the 70s.
