Re: PT-6 Rotary, Lacquer
Brett,
Get up to Winnipeg somehow, rent a Toyota Corolla, drive the piss out of it up to the North Pole and back, and get that tuba.
If you don’t wanna pay any duty on it, show the Martin E-flat when you cross over, leave it in Winnipeg with somebody, and show the PT6 when you cross back over.
The next time you’re in Winnipeg, pick up the Martin, drive it back across the border, and show a receipt that you bought it for a hundred bucks.

Re: PT-6 Rotary, Lacquer (on hold)
non sequitur, but semi analogous:
A friend of mine (only in his mid 40’s) up and quit their band directing job and walked the entire Appalachian Trail (months - by himself, finishing up about a week or two ago).
It would have been even more analogous had there been a tuba waiting for him up in Maine.

But for real, out with it.. who made the trip?
Asking the buyer to out themselves not for the seller to say anything.

Re: PT-6 Rotary, Lacquer SOLD
It's a wild story.
Flight cancelations. A literal tuba handoff in the Yellowknife airport so the buyer could catch his return flight.
I think the buyer was in Yellowknife for about an hour.
Glad it worked out though! Enjoy the horn Declan!
