Who makes these? I know @Three Valves has a German-made one. This one looks like a Chinese King knock-off.

:facepalm2: We just purchased this exact Tuba for our son, a HS Sophomore. It was on sale for $4,989, regular price was $7,899, with case, no mouthpiece.
Accent is the house brand made for Quinlan and Fabish music stores. These are the instruments typically sold to new students via the monthly payment program. It is made at the same manufacturing companies as some of the high end tubas. We purchased this knowing it is a starter tuba and not really recommend for professional use. If my Son decides on a music career or attending college with a music scholarship, we will upgrade.
