Wessex Tubby EEbb
Any new reviews on this. There seems to be very little mention of it. It was an excellent idea. I only regret that it was built to a modern format in being very short, but that only personal preference.

Unclebeer is right. The Tubby Eb IS a fantastic tuba, and I am not biased.
Here’s my review a year ago viewtopic.php?p=43906#p43906.
The only change to that review is I found the gig bag is not exactly a “perfect” fit since the bell is a little larger than 19”. Wessex has told me they are working on a new gig bag for Tubby.
After almost 18 months, I remain totally satisfied with the Tubby Eb. I play in groups ranging from quartet to 50+.
