I'm work from home, the kids are in school 2-3 days each week, the wife's stuck in her lab, I have a freshly shaved face, and I have the house to myself. First time playing since our last concert on March 8th. Things of note:
-I have no endurance (expected)
-The sound is better than I hoped for, though a bit inconsistent between registers
-Articulation and air control are better than the last time I took an extended break
-Dogs (both of whom have been adopted since I last practiced) were unimpressed.
I'll get the chance to play again over lunch tomorrow. Something to look forward to.

That's great.
I've found similar in the past after time away from the horn: I didn't sound as bad as I was expecting.

Some old Yorks, Martins, and perhaps a King rotary valved CC

March? Ok, I don't feel quite so bad... it's been about the same for me, too.
Same issue... kids always at home. Wife also working from home. All around... not the time for playing the tuba.
Hope your valves were (relatively) okay!
