Those built-in scissors mechanisms and stout wood are definitely going to define some weight.
Also I'm pretty sure those things are not inexpensive.

"Cheapest one" you could find --- I read reviews on Amazon, and it seems that they have a tendency to collapse without warning; several reviews pointed this out. I decided nope after the mental picture of self plus Star in a pile on the floor, and some of these collapsed with kids on them, not big manly adults.

I don't see anything that will collapse, unless someone's 400 lb - or maybe 500 - or forgets to tighten down the two screws on the underside.
