For those who remember and care (small group!), I had posted a poll on the other place, about what to buy next... Thein RCC with the correct shank size, RCC-H with correct shank size, Momo 30H, something for Bort Jr, or upgrade to a leather gig bag.
The winner is...
Nothing right now. My washing machine backed up and flooded, causing water damage to our floor, walls, and ceiling underneath.
The washer drain had been clogged earlier in the day, so I called a drain cleaning company to fix it. They came, they worked on it, and then declared it ready to go.
So of course, 10 minutes after the left, I turn on the laundry machine, walk away, and then hear my kids screaming because black water was shooting out of the laundry room and going everywhere.
Only lasted 10-15 seconds, but enough to mess up a lot. Drain cleaning company came back out and checked the drain a second time... "Yeah, that's still clogged. They must've punched a small hole in the clog earlier, but didn't actually clean it all." I'm hoping that admission of guilt will hold up for my insurance company to go after the people who did a halfway job the first time.
So, my tuba fun $ is now being used on a homeowner's insurance deductible. :|

Bort, get the home service plus plan from Centerpoint Energy. It really is worth it, especially if you have older appliances.
