Robb Stewart made a Bflat instrument that has three piston and two rotary valves. This looks like most of the weight would be on your shoulder but, again, pistons. (sigh)

You could prowl around pawn shops and dusty corners of town band rooms and I’m sure you would find something. If you can think of an unusual concept for a brass instrument, odds are that someone in Italy already built it

I think either a regular slide trombone or regular valve trombone with one of those Ergo blah blahs attached to a resting on the chair seat
