Too good not to be played:
I am selling a silver-plated F tuba (5 valves: 4x perinet + 1x cylinder for operation with the thumb of the right hand, bell: 43cm, bore: 19/20/20.5mm) with its sturdy case. It is in very good condition. Slight signs of use are present.
Its construction is based on the successful Hirsbrunner (389) and Adams models. The result is impressive...
Their sound spectrum ranges from solo to orchestral. Depending on the size of the mouthpiece used, either one or the other can be emphasized. It is characterized by very good intonation and response. It is particularly good in the more difficult register below F for an F tuba.
Playing is possible by appointment in Aschaffenburg.
A sample of the original:
Unfortunately, I have to reduce the size of my “fleet” due to lack of space.

Mystery meat in the cafeteria. “Looks like something…”
(Might want to just come out and say who made it.)

According to the first owner, it was made by the Chinese manufacturer Tianjin Jessy Musical Instruments. It comes quite close to the original and is of high quality.
